Brenda is the Director of Purchasing for U.S. Ecology, Inc. located in Livonia, Michigan. U.S. Ecology is a premier provider of comprehensive environmental services around the world. With almost 20 years at U.S. Ecology, she is recognized as a leader in her profession. In March of 2007, she became a Life Time Certified Purchasing Manager with the Institute of Supply Management. With her years of experience, she was invited to speak at the University of Michigan, Dearborn on procurement topics. 

In 1995, Brenda graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Law, Criminology, and Juvenile Delinquency. Brenda and her husband, Greg have been residents of Green Oak Townships for over 17 years. Together they have a daughter who is currently attending Central Michigan University. Greg Plank is a proud business owner in Green Oak Township. 

In 2018, Brenda was first elected as a Republican Precinct Delegate in Green Oak township. She is an active member of the Livingston County Republican Party and supports our Second Amendment rights and the Right to Life.  Brenda believes that our government should be limited and supports free-market capitalism and social-conservative policies. Her goal is to bring the same shared values she practices every day to the office of County Commissioner. Her number one priority as a servant of the people in Livingston County will be to challenge the status quo and ensure the county government is accountable to the residents of Livingston County.
